Welcome to ArtSTEM college!
ArtSTEM is an interactive learning environment accompanied by real-life project-based hands-on science experiments and art activities. Learning of this exploratory and differentiated nature stimulates curiosity, promotes the development of creativity, imagination and discovery. Students will learn how phenomena work, as well as their internal and external structure. Mastering the STEAM curriculum in science, technology, engineering and math, they will explore the world of hardware, gravity and electricity. Students will engage in artistic activities, learning drawing, painting and sculpture. They can, according to their choice, participate in long-day courses in computer programming, robotics, working with mechanisms, 3D printing, and studying rocket technology.
The program works in parallel with state educational programs.

ArtSTEM College has a well-rounded learning environment that develops students' moral behavior, critical thinking, good leadership skills, lifelong learning and the pursuit of truth, creating a strong foundation for their cognitive, non-cognitive and technical skills. Our story
1990թ. ակադեմիկոս Ավետիք Մկրտչյանը հիմնադրել է Երևանի տնտեսաիրավագիտական համալսարանը: Ա.Մկրտչյանը շինարար-ինժեներ և մանկավարժ էր միաժամանակ: Որպես շինարար-ինժեներ նա մեր երկրում բազմաթիվ հայտնի շենքեր ու շինություններ է կառուցել:
Երիտասարդ տարիքում ավարտելով ասպիրանտուրան և պաշտպանելով գիտական ատենախոսությունը`ստանում է գիտական կոչում «շինարարության էկոնոմիկա»-յի ոլորտում: 70-ականներից նա դասավանդել է Պոլիտեխնիկական ինստիտուտում և ծավալել իր մանկավարժական գործունեությունը: Ակադեմիկոսի մահից հետո բուհը վերանվանվել է նրա անունով:
Ավետիք Մկրտչյանի անվան տնտեսաիրավագիտական համալսարանն այսօր 26 տարվա պատմություն ունի և իր ուրույն տեղը ՀՀ բարձրագույն կրթության ուսումնական հաստատությունների շարքում: 2013թ. համազգային վստահություն խորհրդի կողմից բուհն արժանացել է «Տարվա լավագույն մասնավոր բարձրագույն ուսումնական հաստատություն» մրցանակին: 2015թ. ՀՀ կրթության և գիտության նախարարության կողմից բուհը ստացել է նախադպրոցական և հանրակրթական գործունեության լիցենզիա: Դրա հիմնական նպատակը բուհի ուսանողների համար մասնագիտական գիտելիքների պրակտիկ բազա ստեղծելն է, որը հիմնադրել է ներկայիս ռեկտոր հ.գ.թ., դոցենտ Լաուրա Մկրտչյանը:
Համալսարանի շենքը, որտեղ տեղակայված են նաև նախակրթարանն ու վարժարանը` նույնպես Ա. Մկրտչյանի շինարարական-ինժեներական գործունեության արդյունք է և շատ խորհրդանշական է որպես կրթօջախ` այն խորհրդանշում է նրա երկու մասնագիտությունների սինթեզը:
